Ethan Lillemoe

Ethan Lillemoe is a self taught young ceramic artist.  His experimental work began back in grade school where a wise teacher let him do his own thing while creating pottery in class.  He has been creating beautiful pottery his own way ever since.  Lillemoe takes 40-60 hours of work to create a single piece, starting with a potters wheel, a lot of smoothing, carving and finally firing.  He never attended art school on purpose.  Ethan, ever going in his own unique direction, just does not want to be influenced by what others have already done.

NOTE: You can view Ethan Lillemoe’s art and the artwork of many more artists visiting J. Petter Galleries.  See our Events page to find out if any of your favorite artists will be visiting us for an Artist’s Reception this season.
